oh boy!

I found this really cute quilt from ALL PEOPLE QUILT and knew I wanted to make it. I also knew the perfect fabric I wanted to use. Forever I have been making girly blankets and quilts and I felt it was about time to make a boy blanket. The pattern calls for 10x10 squares, and I just happen to have a pre-cut collection bundle from Riley Blake's All Star collection.

The pattern was really easy, and being my first quilt it was the perfect one. I did modify the pattern a bit, and made my blanket smaller so it would be a throw. This left me with enough squares to make a good size baby blanket that I am going to back with minky latter on. (will post it when it's complete).

Did I mention I love this blanket? I am really proud of myself. I loved backing it with Monaluna's mingle circles in cocoa and Michael Miller's Hedgehog meadow, (which I think gives the back character)

I am loving this blanket so much, I am going to use it until a boy joins our family, but even then I might just steal it from him!

If you are interested in following this pattern, go to the link above and then hop on over to my shop and check out my LAST pre-cut 10x10 square bundle available..and for only $20 such a great deal... I can also bring more in, so drop me a line.
