Quilt in a Bag, CAT IN THE HAT
I love, love, love the NEW Cat in the Hat fabric, I have had it in stock for a few months now...It has been so popular and every time I cut a order of it I am always wanting to make a baby blanket... So I finally did!
I love this pattern from Moda but first saw it on Oh Fransson's blog. I loved the fabric she used for her baby quilt, and was planning to do one along the same color lines. But when I finally decided to make this quilt I wanted a pattern that was fast and easy...Which is why I choose this one..
It is so easy and fast I really finished in a weekend, faster if you don't have a little 2 yd old wanting to always be in your lap, while your sewing..
This is why I choose this pattern for my FIRST ever QUILT IN BAG KIT Included in this kit is everything but the batting.
Finished quilt measures 33x40
This kit includes:
38 PRE-CUT charm pack squares of all the fabric I have in stock
white kona cotton for sashing
black kona cotton for binding
1 and 1/4 backing (THIS IS YOUR CHOICE OF WHICH cat in the hat PRINT YOU WOULD LIKE, subject to availability.) I used titles in black and white.
You provide your own batting:
37 x 44
pattern not included but FREE to download, HERE.
What else can I say about this pattern, besides being so EASY and FAST....Want a great quilt in a weekend, buy this QUILT KIT and have fun sewing a bright and fun quilt, any baby would love...
