A while back, (like back in 2011) we posted a quilt kit called
Chain Link from pattern creator and blogger
Amy Smart. It was recently brought to my attention that we never posted the finished quilt. eek.
So 2 years latter here it is.

We used a bunch of Amy Butler prints along with kona cotton medium gray for sashing and kona cotton white as background.
For me backs of quilts are fun, I get to be creative and have some fun.
For the back I used
bike path sun ,
white stripes Kona cotton,
Kona cotton solid olive and lacework in brown.
For the binding I used a blue stripe fabric.
I love how this quilt turned out.
I did my own quilting on it, which was like a wonky box pattern. Free hand of course, not my best quilt job, still trying to master free hand.
