Quick Hello Kitty blanket -tutorial

Do you have a child or friend that LOVES

HELLO KITTY?

well, you are so not alone.

My daughter and niece love this little cat and based on seeing her

everywhere, so do a whole lot of people.

Do you remember the Hello Kitty panel we brought in a few months back?

well, we still have some yardage left and wanted to share a quick and easy blanket you can whip up for a quick gift for your Hello Kitty loving loved ones.

ps. this fabric is now 10% off

we made this blanket the same way we did the rose cuddle baby blanket tutorial, found here

sewing a blanket this way is really fast and easy

by using the soft minky dot as the backing, makes this blanket super soft and cuddly.

for the backing I used jade dimple dot
I wanted a fun, funky color and the jade did just that.

here is what you need:
hello kitty panel here
1 yd of any soft minky or rose cuddle here

blanket measures 33"x 42"
great size for a infant to toddler

my 4 year old wants one, so I will make her one using the same style but add on boarders to make the blanket larger. I will post a short tutorial for that once its done.
