How the Grinch Stole Christmas wall hanging

I am so happy with how this wall hanging turned out. I first showed you it here.

I knew when we got in the Christmas fabric from the Grinch collection I wanted to create a wall hanging with the panel fabric.

This panel fabric is so adorable, and tells the story of the Grinch who stole Christmas. I brainstormed and came up with using the panel for the main portion of the wall hanging so I would have the story included.

I cut the panels out and arranged them to make up the body of the Christmas tree. I then calculated what I needed and filled in with the white.

using stripes in green added a nice touch for the trunk.

I quilted lines about 1 inches apart to out line the tree.

which I have to say I really love the look... :)

I boarded it with Whoville people red which helped the tree to stand out.

i love this stripe in crimson, and so glad I used it for the binding.

The backing is backed with Jelly Bean Egg Toss Chartruese, and i'm so pleased with the look of using one fabric

aren't these adorable?

After the wall hanging was done, there was just something missing, so I hand stiched in green shinny floss around the tree. this topped it off.

i love my Grinch wall hanging. Now..... what can you create with a yard of this adorable panel fabric?
